The motors meet the efficiency requirements
effective as of July 1, 2023, which means, among other things,
that 75–375 kW 2–6-pole motors have an efficiency rating
of IE4.
Innomotics electric motors are available with certification from several marine classification societies and for most countries around the world, but must be ordered
directly from the factory for this purpose.
ENCLOSURE CLASS
The motors are fully enclosed, fan-cooled, and have an IP55 enclosure rating.
INSULATION
The motors are designed to meet Insulation Class F standards but are operated only up to the temperature limit specified for Class B. This temperature margin ensures a longer service life and high operational reliability for the motors.
VOLTAGE
Standard 3-phase motors are rated for 230/400 V, 50 Hz up to 3 kW and 400/690 V, 50 Hz from 4 kW and up. Motors rated for 500 V are also kept in stock in certain power ratings and pole numbers. Other voltages are available upon request. The motors can also be used at 60 Hz, which is usually stamped on the nameplate.
LUBRICATION AND BEARINGS
Bearings with C3 clearance. Motors in sizes 56–132 have sealed bearings, which means they can be considered permanently lubricated. Motors in sizes 160–355 in the Simotics SD Performance Line are equipped with grease nipples for relubrication.
MECHANICAL DESIGN
GP (general purpose) motors are made of aluminum. Sizes 63 and 71 have fixed feet, while sizes 80–132 are stocked with bolted feet that can be mounted on either side. SD cast iron motors are stocked with bolted feet up to size 280. The terminal box is located on the opposite side of the feet and cannot be moved. Larger motors have fixed feet. SD Premium Line motors feature drain plugs that can be easily removed to prevent condensation from accumulating inside the motor. The motors are painted in the standard color gray RAL 7030 but can be ordered in other colors from the factory.
THERMAL PROTECTION
We stock GP-type aluminum motors without thermal protection. SD Premium Line cast iron motors come standard with thermistors.
Busck 3-phase electric motor efficiency IE3
Busck electric motors type T3A and T3C are robust and flexible motors with high performance, manufactured to withstand the Scandinavian industry's tough demands on reliability and quality. The motors meet efficiency class IE3 according to IEC 60034-30. The motors are designed for normal operating conditions and comply with international standards IEC 60034, AS1359, BS5000 and CE marking directives. The noise level is low. Busck electric motors type MS, T3A and T3C have marine type approval from DNV-GL. The motors are fully enclosed, fan-cooled and with enclosure class IP55. The motors are designed according to insulation class F but are only utilized to the temperature limit that applies to class B. This temperature reserve gives the motors increased service life and high operational reliability. The standard 3-phase motors are designed for 230 / 400 V ± 10%, 50 Hz up to and including 3 kW and 400 / 690 V ± 10%, 50 Hz from 4 kW upwards. Other voltages are available on request. The motors can be used up to 60 Hz, which is also stamped on the plate.

Type T3A, sizes 80–132, comes standard with thermal contacts. The T3A160 comes standard with thermistors. The T3C, sizes 160–355, comes standard with thermistors in the winding. Thermistors require a trip relay. This is available for supply voltages of 230 or 400 V.

ELK 3-phase motors, type 2EL and 3EL
ELK is a relatively new Turkish motor manufacturer with modern machinery and premises. They manufacture motors according to IEC standard in sizes 63-315. Size 63-160 are in aluminum and larger sizes in cast iron.
The motors meet efficiency class IE2, IE3 or IE4 according to applicable requirements. The motors are designed for normal operating conditions and comply with the international standard IEC 60034 and the directives for CE marking and are also UL approved as standard.
PROTECTION RATING
The motors are fully enclosed, fan-cooled, and have an IP 55 protection rating.
