Busck & Co AB is a third-generation Swedish family business with roots dating back to 1923. What began with Ingo Busck selling car batteries has, over the course of a century, evolved into one of the Nordic region’s leading companies in electric drive systems and transmissions. In 1928, Gösta Ullman became a partner—and it is his grandchildren who now own and run the company.
In 1955, the company shifted its focus to electric motors, which have been its core product ever since. In 2006, the headquarters and warehouse moved to their current location in Kållered, outside Gothenburg. The subsidiary Busck & Co ApS was established in Denmark in 2003 and Busck AS in Norway in 2005—today, Busck primarily supplies customers in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, but also ships to the rest of the world.
Busck is an independent wholesaler and supplier of electric motors, variable frequency drives, gearboxes, generators, and coolant pumps. Under its own brand, Busck sells electric motors manufactured by Techtop—the leading Chinese manufacturer of electric motors, selected for its quality tailored to Nordic industry. The product range is complemented by Innomotics electric motors, frequency converters from Siemens, Danfoss, and KOSTAL, Mecc Alte generators, and Sacemi coolant pumps.
Industry can’t afford to stand still—downtime costs money. That’s why fast delivery has always been at the heart of Busck’s offering. With over 47,000 units in stock in Kållered, delivery trucks depart several times a week to customers throughout the Nordic region. For urgent needs, emergency deliveries are available around the clock.
