VLT AutomationDrive FC 302 is the perfect solution for all types of advanced applications. An extremely flexible and cost-effective frequency converter, for industrial applications, from simple speed controls to highly dynamic and demanding applications.

By using smart features directly in your Danfoss VLT drive, you can monitor your motor winding, vibration measurement and load. You can quickly fix leaks, wear and damage.

Motor winding monitoring: By analyzing the motor current signature, the drive can detect an incipient defect in winding insulation at an early stage. The monitoring function triggers an early warning if the motor winding insulation decreases.

Vibration measurement: This function can be used to detect imbalance, misalignment and backlash. The frequency converter compares the vibrations with the motor speed.

Load monitoring: The function learns the torque curve of the load and detects anomalous overloads or underloads based on the baseline level. Friction in machines, clogged filters or worn rotors are some of the faults in applications that can be detected.
