From car batteries to variable speed drives

Our story begins in 1923. Back then, our focus was on car batteries. Since then, Busck & Co has grown, and our product range has steadily expanded. Our commitment to service has always remained the same. Learn more about our history.

1923

Busck by Ingo Busck. Car batteries are its main product line.

1928

Gösta Ullman becomes Ingo's business partner. Gösta Ullman's grandchildren are the current owners of Busck & Co .

1955

We are transitioning from selling car batteries to electric motors.

1987

Busck Brook Crompton's agency.

1980s

The product range is extended with generators from Mecc Alte.

2003

Busck now the sole representative of Brook Crompton in Sweden. The subsidiary Busck & Co is being established in Denmark.

2005

Busck selling an electric motor under the Busck brand. The subsidiary Busck is established in Norway.

2006

We are starting to stock and sell Busck . Our headquarters and warehouse are moving to new premises in Kållered, south of Gothenburg.

2007

Geared motors from Rexnord-Stephan, now Premium Stephan, are now included in the range.

2008

The product range is further expanded with Allen-Bradley frequency inverters as well as motorized sledges and tensioning rulers.

2009

Busck's own gears are now available in the range.

2010

We are physically growing and expanding with 650 square meters of high bay warehouse.

2016

We are expanding our range with drives from Danfoss, the world leader in dedicated drives.
